When you arrive in Vancouver via aircraft you will be arriving at the 4th best airport terminal in the world. Once you get off your airplane you will walk by the Haida Indian carving and waterfall before you enter the customs and immigration area.
After Customs a large baggage carousel area will make it easy for you to find your baggage. If there are two of you traveling together we suggest that one of you immediately go to the immigration lineup so that you will be able to be processed promptly.
Once you present yourself to the immigration officer you will be asked for all of the documentation to support and confirm you visa. If you are going to work in Vancouver , the immigration officer will give you in addition to your visa an application form for your Social Insurance Number (SIN). If you misplace the form don't worry we have some that we can give you.
If you are just coming to Vancouver on holiday the customs officer will just stamp your passport and check your visa, if necessary, and then you will be on your way.
After you have finished with the immigration officer you then proceed to the customs officer at the exit area from the customs & immigration area. At that point you will hand over your customs declaration form and once cleared proceed through sliding doors. At the end of the walk way you will turn right and go through the next set of sliding glass doors.
Once you go through the doors there is a glass fence on your left proceed all the way down the hallway and at the end you will see the VANCOUVERSIDER near the pole on you right. From there on you will be with your friendly 'sider' WELCOME TO CANADA!
